Decorating a north-facing (South facing if you are in the southern hemisphere)room can be a challenge.
Usually, these rooms will be dark and not get much sunlight. We tried to brighten the room up by using light colours but the room always felt cold and never felt warm.
So after the light colours were a fail, we went to the dark side. Using colours from F&B we were able to choose a colour combination suitable for the room.
The room has felt much cosier and is actually a nice place to be. A big bonus for a living room.
Hopefully, this vid will show you that it is possible to decorate a North facing room and make it feel like a nice place to be. Just wish it was as easy as it looks in the vid!
