Retired General Daudi Tonje who led the Kenya Defense Forces into the new millennium and has been credited for introducing numerous reforms that improved the operational efficiency of the armed forces in Kenya, has mourned the late Francis Ogolla as a skilled and diligent soldier, saying that his discipline helped him rise through military ranks from second Lieutenant to the Chief of Defense Forces.
