A Story of Trees:
Many trees stood next to a raging river.
All the trees swayed in the wind.
They stood without care and without worry.
However, one tree died.

What's wrong? Inquired the trees.
Leaves falling, the trees slowly began to die.
one, two, three, four, the forest began to wither.

The nights were cold, and the days were nightmares.
All that stood were husks of trees where they once stood.
Termites! Termites! Yelled many trees.
No more nutrients! Yelled others.

As the forest withered, a group decided to cross the river.
How can we depart? We are stuck to the land we were birthed.
The trees wanted to flee, but could not figure out how.

Our offspring! Our offspring! We must take them across the river.
The river was raging, the trees were afraid.
No tree knew what was across the waters.

We have no choice, this is for the future of our kind!
The trees began to shake left and right.
Swaying harder in the wind as they created gust strong enough to send a group of seeds across the swift waters.

On the other side grew sprouts.
Sprouts that represented a new beginning.

For the future...
