Today we take a closer look at four Boss DS-1 style distortion pedals. The DS-1 is a fantastic pedal and deserves much more appreciation. There is, however, a positive aspect of the fact that the DS-1 is a sleeper. While guitarists around the world are busy emptying their wallets for a vintage Tube Screamer, a few lucky guys can take home a vintage DS-1 at an incredible price. Not bad!
