We were on our way to Austin from Arizona.  Along the 900 mile journey just after El Paso, we began listening to Blaze Foley.  Honestly, I hadn't spent much time with his music until then, which may be a crime as a songwriter.  Between the landscape of west Texas and living on the road made the songs hit hard for me, and I felt instantly connected to him.  It began the inspiration for this song I wrote "Together And Alone".  

Since then, my family and I are crossing into a year and a half of full time living on the road out of our 24' Winnebago.  It's been every emotion, and many lessons learned.  I am grateful for it, and eager to see where the road leads. 

This song began as a way to describe leaving an old life behind for a new one, but given the state of the world has taken on new meaning.
