We're Chris, Nami, and Abby (woof!), and we're members of Intro Japan, located in Saitama, Japan. We have converted our Nissan Caravan into a camper van on our own and began our road trip around this island nation with our dog, Abby. For our first road trip, our goal is to reach the Tohoku region without using the highway, and we have finally reached Yamagata (the beginning of Tohoku region)!! Huzzah! It's a long ride but hope you join our journey together ;)

It's our fourth day on our road trip to Tohoku. As promised, we have entered Tohoku. Our first prefecture in Tohoku is Yamagata. Now we're off to climb up over 1,000 stairs to reach Yamadera, a Buddhist temple on top of a steep mountain cliff. And yes, you can bring your dog with you! Will we make it? Watch and find out ;)
