This is an exceptionally good high frequency inverter overall, it amazingly started my 1/2 hp well pump easily while a 4kw low frequency inverter I have with 4kw better surge rating struggles to start it. However it got excessively hot on a 15 minute near full load run & in my opinion, running this inverter that hard continuously would not last long. I wouldn't push this beyond 3kw continuous & only to 4kw for short durations. Giandel needs to use a much higher velocity variable speed cooling fan. It sure would be nice if Giandel made a 24v 5 or 6kw version. Idle consumption was 4/10's of an amp.
Giandel has a better than usual warranty for 18 months & 2 US service centers unlike most other chinese crap that you'd be lucky to get any help with a problem.
