Here's how to spend a day in Venice - Legit less than 12 hours in the actual city itself. I was on a Contiki trip so we moved veryyy fast, that's why I left the group and wandered independently, I wanted to make sure I got to do everything I planned out.

Venice is so beautiful. It really does feel like a world of its own. The Canals, Gondolas, mouthwatering pizza, grand architecture, fascinating museums ...and Italian men who stop you to say 'Ciao Bella!'

I had the best time running around and singing in the rain with a stranger I had just met, experiencing a gondola ride for the first time and trying my first pizza in Italy... isn't life so fun?
