Drawer box construction. These phenolic plywood drawer boxes are heavy-duty, with 3/4 inch sides and 1/2 inch bottom plywood plates that are glued and pin-nailed into 1/2 inch x 3/8 inch dadoes. Then the sides are pulled together with 1 1/4" pocket screws. Screwing from the face-plates into the sides rather than the opposite is the way to go since the screws will reinforce against any strain on the box from pulling action. These will recieve false faces once the boxes are mounted, which will cover the pocket screw holes.
