This week ... How to make: Mini submersible water pump

This water pump is ideal for models, nativity scenes, small Zen fountains and everything you can think of: P

In the video, to isolate more the engine from the water, I have used lithium grease, this grease is TOXIC when ingesting it, so you should not throw it away in the cases in which the water or liquid that moves the pump is for drinking or for aquariums, etc.

Used materials:

1 Engine, I used one taken from an old CD-rom.
2 Plugs, one of those that have bottles of fabric softeners, and the other one like those worn by Tetra Brik (the Tetra Brik with a clear cap).
Sheet metal, from a can of preserves.
1 straw or small tube.
Rubber eva.
Cable, I have used UTP or Ethernet cable.
2 Pillar 1,5v AA
Thread
A mine of a pen.
Grease (it is not necessary for its operation).

Tools:

A cutter or blade for models.
Scissors
Hot silicone gun.
Small pliers.
Instant glue.
Marker pen.
A small file (optional).

*** CAUTION: There are tools such as blades, silicon gun and dangerous products such as lithium grease, etc ... which can be dangerous for children, if you are small ask for help from your parents or someone older. ***

As always ... this is just one way of doing it, the one that has occurred to me and I have been able to do with the materials I had on hand.

I hope this video encourages you to build your own submersible water pump, sure you look great.
