Every occasion is different and every place is a different box of surprises, so much so that when I started walking around Bratislava I found myself in a pleasant unexpected situation.

Arriving in a new country, finding accommodation and going out to walk its streets to see what we find and share it with you is something that is becoming a way of life.
An old cover made in the German Democratic Republic, how many secrets will be hidden between these cobblestones, in these alleys and between the trains of this Slovakia.
Slovakia officially called the Slovak Republic is one of the twenty-seven sovereign states that make up the European Union. Located in Central Europe, it borders Poland to the north, Ukraine to the east, Hungary to the south, Austria to the west, and the Czech Republic to the northwest. It has a population of 5,389,180 inhabitants and its capital is Bratislava, the city that welcomes us today and has 425,000 inhabitants.
Although it is not my first visit to Bratislava and it is the third time I have come to Slovakia, this time I feel for some reason that everything is new for us.
I must confess that this time I feel a great nostalgia, loneliness, something that had not happened before. It may be because Dace hasn't been able to come to this city with me, or because it's a gray non-working day, so the atmosphere is tinged with stillness.
However, recognizing some corners, some forms make me happy, they give me back my soul, it's like suddenly I realize that it's good that I'm here.
I am aware that Bratislava is only a gateway to what is to come. We are going to tour Slovakia, as much as possible through its lesser-known corners to learn about the day-to-day life of its inhabitants and share it with you.
The comparison with the neighbors of which we have more references Hungary and the Czech Republic that we have just visited recently will be inevitable.
But something between what little we have seen is already different, this is further east. We will see what the next sections of the road hold for us.
