You can protect cells, ranges, sheets, and formulas in Google Sheets to prevent unwanted changes. Here are the steps to do it:

Protecting a range of cells:

Select the range of cells you want to protect.
Go to the "Data" menu and select "Protected sheets and ranges."
Click on the "Add a sheet or range" button.
Enter a description for the range and select the cells you want to protect.
Choose the permissions you want to grant (e.g., edit, view, etc.).
Click "Done" to save your changes.
Protecting a sheet:

Right-click on the tab for the sheet you want to protect.
Select "Protect sheet."
Choose the permissions you want to grant (e.g., edit, view, etc.).

Protecting formulas:

Select the cells that contain the formulas you want to protect.
