The bondol eagle is medium in size (43-51 cm), has broad wings with a short tail and is rounded when stretched. The head, neck and chest are white, the rest are pale brick red, the tips of the primary feathers are black, and the legs are yellow. In individual children, the overall color is dark brown, in some parts shiny white stripes.
