Here is part 5 the last video in My Story of Sjogren's Symptoms series. Part 5 is about how Sjogren's attacks the blood vessles in the brain leading to inflammation and potentially white matter disease.
In this video I descuss my brain lesions called areas of hyperopacities, why these can occur in the brain & how the brain & body are effected by them.
Additionally, I describe how blood vessles in the brain are attacked by immune cells called lymphocytes leading to brain lesions often called areas of hyperopacity when seen on MRI or CT scan.
I give examples of symptoms I experience that give me cause to believe my small vessles are under attack both in brain and throughout the body.
