The IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi visited Nigeria this week to work on issues related to cancer care and energy. During his two-day visit he spoke at the High-level Regional Seminar on Promoting Cancer Awareness and Advocacy Programmes, hosted by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, met with high level government officials and visited Abuja's national hospital. Mr Grossi said: “It is very clear that Nigerians need more access to cancer treatment than is currently available. We need to amplify the support. You can count on us.”
