We went to Mt. Kuro-dake to Mt. Akadake, the classic traverse route of Daisetsuzan where the autumn leaves are the earliest in Japan, for 2 days and 1 night!
The route departs from the Kurodake Ropeway lift landing area and passes through Mt. Kurodake, Mt. Hokkaidake, Hakuun-goya, Mt. Akadake, and Ginsendai.
I was happy to be able to walk among the autumn leaves in full bloom ✨

Sounkyo Kurodake Ropeway → Kurodake → Hokkaidake → Hakuundake Refuge Hut → Akadake → Ginsendai

・Ginsendai bus service runs from July to September every year
・The manager of Mt. Shiroundake evacuation hut will be stationed permanently until around September.
