Hamburg (2024) is a city in the North of Germany and has an important Port like Bremerhaven. Officially the city is the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg but locally known as Hamborg. Some highlights of the City are the City Hall, the Alster Lakes, the Speicherstadt, the Elbphilharmonie and the St. Catherine's Church. Hamburg has a population of 2,5 million. However, in the larger metropolitan area of the State of Hamburg 5,5 million people live.
