Dr. Ranita Manocha presents: “First aid for gait aids: How to use walking aids safely,” at the 2021 Wood Forum on Sports Injury Prevention.

Dr. Ranita Manocha, MD, MSc, is a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Ranita started the Connective Tissue Disorders Rehabilitation Clinic and the Bracing and Mobility Clinic at Foothills Medical Centre. She also works clinically with patients who require nerve conduction studies and specialized wheelchair seating systems. Ranita’s research interests involve the biomechanical effects of walking aids and braces.
