Breathing exercises can be a helpful component of Long Covid treatment. They were such an important part of Jackie’s recovery from Long Covid she trained to become a breathing instructor.

Breathlessness after Covid can be an issue. Jackie discovered she was unintentionally hyperventilating much of the time. Learning breathing techniques for Long Covid not only fixed the problem but taught her how to calm the nervous system. Long Covid breathwork can support the parasympathetic nervous system to prevent flipping into fight or flight mode or having panic attacks.

These breathing techniques will also be helpful for people with chronic fatigue syndrome, anyone looking to regulate the autonomic nervous system or reduce sympathetic dominance
