Africa has no shortage of gigantic animals, but how many are actual dinosaurs? Stories from the innermost regions of the Congo claim that there is a beast called Mokele-Mbembe, that bears a striking resemblance to a long-necked dinosaur, thought to have gone extinct millions of years ago. Surely this can't be real, sauropods died out long ago...and yet local stories persist, leading to numerous ill fated expeditions into the depths of the jungle in search of Mokele-Mbembe!
