Sometimes we can be tempted to believe the bigger life gets the better life is. Perhaps this is a mindset that leads to the trap of sacrificing everything for the sake of our dreams. But what is a dream worth?

This independence weekend is earmarked by a talk titled, “Stop Following Your Dreams” where Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. challenges us to rework a dream-chaser mentality into a heart that desires to be in relationship with God above all else.

Although God wants us to enjoy all the good gifts that he has provided for us, he also wants to know if we will place these created things at the center of our lives. As we go on this faith journey, our faith will be tested. But we can always find the answer when we honor Jesus as more than enough. Remember, the center seat is always meant for the Creator himself.
