NJ Drones presents the old abandoned Michelin Tire factory in Milltown NJ . Soon after the Michelin Tire Company purchased the International A&V Rubber Factory in Milltown in 1907, it started the construction of several new buildings.

At its peak, Michelin employed more than 2,000 area residents and built many of the homes in the borough. Feeling the effects of the Depression, Michelin moved back to France in 1930.

Although other businesses came and went, these buildings would never again be fully utilized.

This site pictured above is currently being cleaned of hazards and will eventually be developed into residential and commercial units
