Today we are drawing planets of the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. Enjoy these easy step by step drawing for babies, small kids, toddlers, and even adults. This family friendly video helps you to learn all 8 planets of the solar system.
Also different helpers will follow you during the coloring: animals, kids, robots, ants, bees, butterflies, penguins, worms, and many others!
You need just a piece of paper and color pencils, or markers to draw the planets and you can use your imagination to create your own picture of the planet.
Use several details for each planet to make it recognizable:
- craters for Mercury,
- hot spots for Venus,
- blue oceans and green forests for the Earth,
- red surface for Mars,
- huge spot on Jupiter,
- rings around Saturn,
- side rotating rings for Uranus, and
- blue water with hurricanes for Neptune.
When you remember all of this detail you can easily memorize the color and shape of every planet.
How to learn the order of the planets? Just remember:
My Mercury
Very Venus
Educated Earth
Mom Mars
Just Jupiter
Served Saturn
Us Uranus
Nachos Neptune
But where is Pluto? Pluto is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt, a ring of bodies beyond Neptune. Pluto was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930 and was originally considered to be the ninth planet from the Sun. Pluto is very small, only about half the width of the United States, that's the main reason why Pluto was relegated to "dwarf-planet" status by the International Astronomical Union in 2006.
