Today's fan producers don't want to let users open fan cases, so we have to get a bit creative in order to properly clean their internals.

In my case brushes and compressed air were not sufficient to thoroughly clean my fans, Lenovo Legion laptop's GPU was still overheating. Even a vacuum cleaner would not help here, because cat fur combined with dust was tangled and stuck inside. Only after using this method I was able to get out all dust and fur that was buried deep inside the fan case. Filth blocking the heat vent and fan from proper spinning was responsible for additional ~20°C when the GPU was used.

I started recording spontaneously, after most of the dust/fur was already pulled out. When I talk about fan case I mean "contraption", not "construction" 😅
