Ponmudi Hill Station (Stay at 100 years old British Bungalow located in 22nd Hair Pin curve)
Ponmudi Hill Station, which is located about 55 km from Thiruvananthapuram, is one of the most popular hill stations in Kerala. The pleasant climate, misty mornings, and cool evenings make it a favorite destination for tourists. During our recent trip, my family and I stayed in a 100-year-old British bungalow located amidst the tea plantations. I have a video of our journey that I would like to share.

Ponmudi offers beautiful trekking trails to many other wonders of nature hidden away from the casual eyes. All day you can walk through the promising trails with greater excitement. Trekking to Varayadumotta, the most popular trekking trail in Ponmudi, offers a panoramic view of the hills along with the Nilgiri Tahrs. Considered one of the toughest in Trivandrum, it is 18-km trek (one side). Prior booking is needed to avail this package. Two guides will accompany the trekkers.
