2020 State of the City Address


LEMON GROVE, CA – The City of Lemon Grove is proud to release the 2020 State of the City Address from Mayor Racquel Vasquez. Traditionally, the address is held in August of each year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the address was delayed with the hope it could be held in person. Once the County of San Diego moved back into the purple tier, the decision was made to video tape the address and feature it on the City’s YouTube channel.

“I am pleased to offer the 2020 State of the City Address that shares the City’s accomplishments from the past year and my vision for the coming year,” said Mayor Vasquez.

The video was filmed by volunteer videographer Ralph Martin. “I want to thank Mr. Martin for volunteering to film the State of the City Address,” stated Mayor Vasquez.
