Jürgen Henrichs shows us how to build a handcrafted storage stove for modern, well-insulated homes in accordance with the current standard of the Federal Immission Control Ordinance.

The stove builder produces his basic stove for us in the most elegant version, namely with ceramic tiles that he manufactures himself, which he shapes particularly large according to his own design and whose surface he treats in an unusual way.

Thanks to its storage mass of around 350 kilograms, the small stove keeps a room warm for five hours with only around three kilograms of wood. Although, as a typical basic stove, it consists mainly of fireclay bricks, it can be transported if necessary, unlike the permanently installed larger representatives of its kind, and can therefore survive a move in case of doubt.
