Following the loss of her parents during her childhood, Nica finds herself in an orphanage resembling a prison. Enduring years of harsh conditions, she eventually finds hope when a caring couple adopts her. However, her hopes for a perfect fairytale life take a hit when Rigel, a fellow orphan she doesn't get along with, also joins the family.
