See my review of the 2019/2020 Subaru Ascent, Limited. This is Subaru’s brand-new offering in the midsized SUV department. I go over everything it offers so you can be better prepared when you are ready to purchase your next family car. This is my personal car and I drove it over 2200 miles over a month or so as I really got to know all of its features. During a 16 hour trip I really tested all of its Eyesight features and other driver assist features, along with ride quality and comforts.

This SUV has a new 2.4L DI engine and the same CVT transmission that is in the automatic WRX, but it really doesn’t feel too familiar as it is tuned very differently. It is interesting to see that CVT that I’ve gotten to know so well in such a different capacity. As of now I’ve had no regrets and have quite enjoyed the Ascent. If you are thinking about getting this SUV don’t miss this review.
