Finalmente consegui bater o record da lenda Speed. Não sei ao certo quanto tempo eu levei, mas não foi fácil. Desde que cheguei no sub 6min tive várias oportunidades que acabaram "morrendo" no Kintaro ou algum personagem já próximo do final do game. Cada vez que eu perdia eu buscava desenvolver alguma estratégia mais consistente para aquele personagem em específico e com isto consegui melhorar muito minhas chances de chegar com tempos baixos até determinada altura do speedrun. Só me faltava sorte para que tudo se encaixasse e eu conseguisse boas lutas até o final.

Neste speedrun eu perdi uns 3 segundos e meio no Kung Lao para o RNG e uns 2 segundos e meio no Kintaro, parte por causa do RNG e parte por causa do nervosismo.

Contra o Shao Kahn eu perdi apenas alguns frames por nervosismo, já que no primeiro round, com aquele padrão de ataque do chefe, eu finalizo o round com o tempo de 89. É possível que estes frames perdidos tenham me impedido de baixar o tempo para 05:56 já que este 05:57 foi bem na virada do 6 para o 7.

Confesso que buscava um tempo melhor, de preferência abaixo de 05:55 o que é bem possível e poderia ter acontecido neste speedrun com uma melhor luta contra o Kintaro, mas estou satisfeito por ter, ao menos, conseguido o WR.

Finally managed to beat Speed's record. I'm not sure how long it took, but it wasn't easy. Since I managed to sub 6 I had many opportunities that died to Kintaro or some character late in the run. Each time I'd loose a run I'd try to develop a more consistent strat for that specific character and by doing that I managed to improve a lot my chances to reach late game with WR pace. I just needed luck to help me get good fights all the way to the end of the run.

In this run I lost around 3 and half seconds to Kung Lao due to bad RNG and around 2 and half seconds to Kintaro (Considering a perfect fight against him), both for nerves and RNG.

Against Shao Kahn I lost just a few frames considering the pattens I was given, as I can finish him off with 89 in the timer with the pattern he gave me in 1st round. It's possible that these lost frames prevented a 05:56 as I got a very low 05:57.

To be honest I was trying a better time, preferably below 05:55 which is qite possible and could have happened in this very run with a better fight against Kintaro, but I'm satisfied to have, at least, the World Record for now.
