When life gets out of control.. sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and say.. ALL IZZZZZ WELLL!!

Dear viewer,

We're so very proud to present this global collaboration of Hong-Kong based dancers with guest artists from around the world! This video, created in the unprecedented time of the Covid-19 global pandemic where most of the world is in home lockdown for months, seeks to capture the daily struggles and crazy chaos of quarantine life and reassure the world that we’re all in it together and it’s going to be okay!

While this video takes a fun and lighthearted approach, we do not want to gloss over the long-existing massive inequalities that Covid-19 has brought to the surface. Clearly, being stuck in your own home is an incredible luxury compared to the millions of migrant workers in India who have no safe refuge, or the (disproportionately low-income and minority) essential workers who put their lives on the line day in and day out without adequate protection. There is a systemic injustice which we continue to benefit from, and we acknowledge our privilege. As artists, our intention is to convey positivity and joy, and remind one another than most terrible things have an end point. We are not alone, we are in this together.

When things seem so hopeless and this system of oppression and hate threatens to crush and divide us, it becomes more important than ever not to lose sight of our shared humanity. We wish to bring everyone into a safe and positive space where, just for a couple minutes, we can take a collective deep breath to reset our burdened hearts and, through the transformative magic of music and dance, feel the powerful connection that we all share and rediscover our artistry. We are not alone. We are all powerfully loving, compassionate, vibrantly creative human beings who, when united by love and hope, are a truly unstoppable force against all the hate and fear in the world. We will continue to fight for a world where we can truly put our hands on our hearts and say, "All Izz Well."
