I would like to introduce you to the autumn leaves on the Ginzandaira course of the Oku-Tadami Lake pleasure boat, which is currently at its peak in the secluded area of the deep mountains of Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture. The shooting date is October 24, 2023.

The nearest station to the location is Koide Station on the Joetsu Line, which is 33.3 km away and 51 minutes by car. However, there are two buses a day from October 7th to November 5th from Urasa Station on the Joetsu Line. is appearing. The bus stop is at Hakkaisanguchi, so with your back to the ticket gate, go to the left, go down the stairs, and go down the stairs to the bus stop on the left. When you go down the stairs, the bus stop on the left side of the stairs is the bus stop for the Minami Echigo Kanko Bus bound for Lake Okutadami. There are two buses a day: the express bus departs at 7:45 in the morning and goes directly to Okutadami Dam, and the express bus leaves at 1:40 p.m. and also passes through the Ginzandaira boat dock. Additional charges will apply for large luggage.

According to the timetable for the Okutadami Dam bus stop, all buses go to the east exit of Urasa Station, and at first glance it looks like there are three buses a day, but in reality, there are only two buses a day, and starting October 16th, the departures will be moved forward by one hour. Masu. There are two buildings on the dam side of the parking lot. The building with a green roof is Okutadami Lake House, and the building with a red triangular roof is Okutadami Terminal. Both have dining and shopping facilities, but the one with the green roof is Okutadami Lake House. Unfortunately, Tadami Terminal will be closed on November 5th of this year. The pleasure boat terminal is located above the parking lot, and if you use the stairs from the parking lot, it will take you about 12 minutes on foot via Dam Square, but there is a 50m difference in elevation between the parking lot and Dam Square. Yes, the slope car is convenient, there is a slope car platform in front of the bus stop, and the one-way fare is 100 yen. The slope car slowly climbs through the mountains of autumn leaves and arrives in front of Dam Square.

At the dam plaza, there is an illustrated map of Okutadami Dam, which includes a rough map, the power generation system, and the spillway. There is also a free shuttle bus stop from Dam Square to Okutadami Electric Power Building, which runs every 15 minutes between 9:00 and 16:50.

If you go a little further from the dam plaza towards the sightseeing boat terminal, there is a large space with a good view of the dam.On the fence, there is a tasteful wooden board with the words ``Unexplored Region Okutadami'' written on it to guide you to the dam. You can see the dam lake from here.

There is a toilet in front of the pleasure boat boarding area, a boarding counter and a boarding ticket office in the back, and the tent on the right is the waiting area for the Ginzandaira course. At the entrance of the boarding ticket office, there is a sightseeing route map of Oze from Uonuma. To the right of the boarding ticket office is the waiting area for the excursion course. On the left side of the waiting area on the Ginzandaira course is the ticket gate, and below is the boarding point for the pleasure boat. It's a three-person seat, but it's not very spacious, and if two people sit next to each other, it becomes a two-person seat.

The pleasure boat I rode this time was the Oze, and the maximum number of people on board the Oze is 54 in chairs and 96 in standing seats on the upper deck, for a total of 150 people, and 2 sailors, for a total of 152 people. It's a passenger ride.

You can see the autumn leaves of Maruyama immediately to the right after departure. Along the way, there are many spots where the autumn leaves are reflected in the water mirror of Lake Okutadami. On the way, we passed Ginzandaira by the Fantasia, which departed at the same time. Snow is piled up near the tops of some of the mountains in the back. You can also enjoy the snow near the top and the autumn leaves at the same time.

I have visited Lake Okutadami every year for three years, and this year I was finally able to visit at a good time to see the autumn leaves on the day of the photo shoot.
