Don't you eat fish in Cuba? But if we are surrounded by the sea... this was the question that piqued my curiosity. But I decided to investigate while 🔍 I was looking for the typical dish from my hometown: Fried liseta! A dish that became famous thanks to a Spaniard living in Manzanillo who decided to create a legend out of this fish, so easy to prepare and so delicious!
Recipe to prepare the Liseta:
Ingredients
6 lists
1 Pinch of ground pepper
2 lemons
1/4 Cup of wheat flour
1/4 cups of oil
Salt to taste
Elaboration:
Clean the entrails, scales and gills and season them with salt, pepper and lemon juice; let them rest 20 min. After this time, dry them in wheat flour and fry them in very hot oil for approximately 5 minutes on each side. They should be crispy from head to tail. Serve them with lemon wedges.
