The 3D printed prototype of the airbrakes system onboard Borealis is alive! The airbrakes system will allow us to vary the drag on the rocket during flight, in order to precisely control our final apogee. The final design will use a closed loop controller fed by our altimeter and IMU to run a central servo motor which extends and retracts the airbrake panels.
