Gold and silver prices are posting strong losses in U.S. trading Friday, on a double-punch hit from a strong U.S. jobs report and China’s central bank easing its gold purchases. Gold hit a four-week low and was last down $88.92 or 3.74% to $2,288.11. Silver was last down $2.17 or a huge 6.92% to $29.18 at 7PM EST.
