The Tamarack Snowshoe Tour was an exhilarating and refreshing walk through beautiful powdery, pristine snow. I learned so much about Mammoth Mountain's flora and fauna. The tour is 1.5 hours long with several stops to learn about the area. Although, I would have preferred less nature information, and more walking. But, one of my friends has elevation problems (shortness of breath), which is why I think we stopped so many times. Otherwise, it was a perfect day for snowshoeing!

We actually started 30 minutes sooner than the scheduled time because of the weather, and there were no other tours scheduled after us when normally they offer two separate guided tours. The snow shoes themselves are easy to put on and even easier to use. The experience was exactly how I pictured it to be… fun!!!
