উত্তর কলকাতার ছেলে সায়ত্ত। সবে B. Tech. শেষ করে চাকরি খুঁজছে। সাথে টিউশনিও পড়ায়। এমন অবস্থায়, ওদেরই পাশের পাড়ায় এক বনেদি পরিবার চ্যাটার্জি বাড়ির ছেলে তাতাইকে পড়ানোর দায়িত্ব পায় সে। সেখানে তার সাথে আলাপ হয়, সেবাড়ির ছোটবউ জয়া। যে আবার তাতাইয়ের বেস্ট ফ্রেন্ড ওরফে 'কাম্মা' ।
