Whilst teaching art abroad in China, we were given one week off during the end of March. I took this time to visit a place I had never been : Guilin. I started the journey to Longji (or LongSheng) Rice Terraces for a couple of nights then ended my holiday in Guilin. During this time I found myself sketching and documenting the journey and decided to share it. It's strange travelling alone. Some days you meet people and share stories, other days, being the shy person I am, you walk and explore alone. I expected my brain to go crazy, since I would be alone with my own overthinking thoughts, but it turned out to be extremely peaceful, as I became a mere observer.
