It doesn't have to be perfect to get started

Have you ever stopped painting or creating for a long period of time? Life gets busy and before you know it a week slips by, then a month without you taking time for your creative passion projects. Sometimes it can feel hard to get going again. It feels intimidating to break back into your creative mode; to build that creative momentum.
I get it. That has been me for the last couple of months. After moving and transplanting myself to a new house I have been feeling overwhelmed on how to build my momentum again with my passion projects.
If there is one thing I have learned over the years though it's this:
1. it's okay to take breaks from your creative endeavors.
2. give yourself a timeframe for when you want to start creating again. Is it one week or one month? A break is okay, but you don't want a year to slip by without you creating again.
3. Keep fun and curiosity at the top of your list when you start again.

Lastly, it's important to remember that if you are going through a big change or move (like I did) your situation or circumstance doesn't have to be perfect to start creating again! Life is messy. You gotta keep creating regardless!
I hope this has help inspired your to make something beautiful today.
