Here is a far too brief History of Pontiac.
The 'excitement' division on General Motors, many were sad to see it disappear in 2010 and still pine for it's return.
However, how much of it's image is an illusion? For a brief few years in the 60s it created beautiful and powerful cars - but for the remainder of it's history it was just another platform sharing, reskinned version of other GM models.
