Hiking the Adirondack High Peaks to Become a 46er - Santanoni, Couchsachraga, Panther
The Santanoni Range in the Adirondacks is comprised of three High Peaks, Santanoni Peak, Couchsachraga Peak and Panther Peak. These mountain tails are considered "trail-less" or unmaintained and do not have blazes or trail markers.
Our trek started with a hike to the the Bradley Pond Lean-To where we camped for the first night. We climbed the Santanoni Express en route to the Santanoni Peak summit. We then made our way past Times Square through the bog to Couchsachraga Peak only to return to summit Panther Mountain and hike out the Panther Brook trail.
Follow our quest to become ADK 46ers, climbing all 46 High Peaks in the High Peaks Wilderness Area in the northeastern region of the Adirondack Park.
