After making a deal with the White House to avoid jail time, drug smuggling pilot Barry Seal (Tom Cruise) is tasked with photo evidence that tie the Medellín Cartel to the Nicaraguan Sandinistas. Before he can complete his mission however, he is held at gunpoint by the Cartel's soldiers.
