1. Download the Python script qgis_basemaps.py from this repository to your local machine.
2. Open the Python console in QGIS and load the downloaded Python script into the QGIS Python Editor.
3. Click the Run script button on the Python Editor to execute the script. This will add many basesmaps as XYZ tiles to QGIS.
4. Restart QGIS to see the new basemaps in the XYZ Tiles section of the Browser Panel.
