Dr. Khurana, a scientist, invents a parallel form of electricity using solar light making him famous. A local businessman Mr. Mehta feels this may means losses to his business of batteries. Mehta discusses this with his associate Jeevan, who is also his daughter Ashas sweetheart, and both make a plan to get Asha married to Khuranas nephew, Kailash.
