Both Murodo Sanso and Raichoso were wonderful inns, but I heard from other climbers on the previous mountain trip that "Mikurigaike Onsen is also good", and this time I stayed at Mikurigaike Onsen.
The "natural hot spring at the highest point in Japan" at an altitude of 2410m is 100% free-flowing from the source, which has no water and no heating in Jigokudani, and is cloudy and has a sulfur scent! And with a superb view! Too wonderful.
Moreover, there is a bonus that guests can enter the hot springs for free even after checking out.
The shared room for 6 people has improved the feeling of a private room with COVID-19 measures. I was able to relax very much.
