There are many reasons for teacher burn out, but a common one I have seen is the lack of boundaries. Teachers often give over and over again, sometimes at the detriment of their own mental and even physical health. To create a sustainable teaching career, boundaries are needed so that you can enjoy teaching and be the best teacher for your students.

In this video I focus on the need to create boundaries about compensation and expectations. This is not only helpful for teacher retention, but also for creating a greater sense of professionalism for education as a whole.
