One day, I was returning home by train after visiting some friends. Two people were sitting opposite me, a man and a woman. The woman got off at a station not far from my home. Then, another man boarded the train and sat next to the man who was already there. They seemed to know each other.

They spoke quietly for a few minutes, making it impossible for me to hear what they were saying. However, I didn't need to hear them; I just had to watch their faces. While reading a magazine, I looked up and saw the first man say something that surprised me.
