Pokémon's ninth generation has arrived with the arrival of Scarlet and Violet. It's safe to say it's gotten a bit of polarizing press for some of the technical aspects of the game - but we're not here to talk about that!

This is my review of the Pokémon Violet story and if it's worth playing. Pokémon Sword was a disappointing mess when it came to the story, so I hoped the new generation would fair better; did it?
