In this video I make an ultra precise picture frame making jig for my table saw. It uses an aluminum ruler, combined with a stop block with an acrylic top so that you can easily set the dimensions for your frames. The base is made from 18mm Baltic birch plywood with cherry hardwood runners.

I made this sled as a client asked me to make 4 picture frames for some prints he had made up and I wanted an easy way to make repeatable miter cuts. In a future video I will be using this sled to make the frames, so please subscribe if you want to see it being used. The best part about this jig is that it can be used both with wood that already has a rabbit (rebate) cut into it and without.
