It weighs 3 pounds. The bowl and lid are bpa free. The lid has a little hole so you can add oil or anything wet while processing. The unit comes with a stainless steel blade. It has 2 speeds - chop and puree.
Let’s go ahead and test the KitchenAid Food Chopper. First I’ll chop garlic cloves. These are five cloves peeled. Next I’ll chop 1 white onion cut into 1 inch pieces. Let’s try chopping one tomato cut into 1 inch pieces. Now we’ll try some walnuts. These are great chopped small for cookies or muffins.
